This house is approached from the east, affording distant views to the structure elevated above the site. One travels west, and drives completely around the house to the entry courtyard at the back ot the structure. This “in the round” presentation allows the house to have three “fronts” that are viewed when approaching.

The entry courtyard, anchored by the massive outdoor fireplace, welcomes the visitor and brings one to an understated front door. Taking advantage of the bucolic views on all sides, the open floor plan is laid out to integrate interior and exterior spaces.
