Sited amongst the rolling hills of the North Chagrin Reservation is the River Grove Pavilion recently completed for Cleveland Metroparks. This enclosed shelter was built to replace the original Anton George Nosek designed pavilion recently destroyed by fire. Traditional timber framed details of the former structure are reinterpreted in steel and dimensional lumber and tie the building to the lineage of Nosek structures on the site. All building components are exposed and carefully detailed so as to respect the various materials and celebrate the expressive construction connections.

Sustainable components of this project include FSC framing and siding materials and the use of steel with recycled content.
