Located in the heart of Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood, this pair of contemporary homes contributes to the ongoing revitalization of a once-dilapidated area. Built simultaneously, the homes share a bold vertical design that reimagines urban living. Each residence is organized around an open, glassy stairway spine that connects all three levels—creating a sense of light, movement, and anticipation as one ascends toward the top-floor living spaces.
The inverted floor plan places bedrooms, office, and laundry functions on the lower levels, reserving the upper floor for an expansive, light-filled living area with sweeping views of the downtown Cleveland skyline. This arrangement provides both privacy and drama—culminating in a living experience that celebrates the surrounding city while offering a sense of retreat within it.
