Headwaters Park is a 926-acre park featuring the 420-acre East Branch Reservoir, which is one of four reservoirs that supply water to the Akron Metropolitan area. The Park is serviced by an entrance drive and three parking areas. Park amenities include: an open-air shelter, tent pad and lean-to campsites, fishing platforms, a boat launch, vault-style restrooms, 4.7 miles of trails and a connection to 8.2 miles of the Maple Highlands Trail.
The new wood board and batten clad Shelter includes: exterior covered porches of varying size with custom timber columns, main hall with serving station, stone fireplace and wood truss ceiling, an office and an exterior screened-in kayak storage area.
The Headwaters Park Improvements further enhance the Park amenities throughout the year.
